Marketplace Code of Conduct

Code of conduct

What every participant agrees to. Short, because it should be memorable.

01

Be who you say you are

Accurate identity, role, organization and authority both at registration and on an ongoing basis.

02

Be accurate

Provide information in good faith and correct it when it changes. Honest mistakes get fixed; misrepresentation ends participation.

03

Be genuine

Sellers should actually be exploring a sale. Buyers should actually be acquiring. Using this marketplace for competitive intelligence is a removal offence.

04

Respect confidentiality

Information received here is for evaluating a possible transaction and nothing else. Do not share it beyond your team and advisors, and honour the terms you accepted.

05

Use the process

Do not circumvent the introduction mechanism to contact a participant directly.

06

Be responsive

If you request an introduction, engage with it. If you are no longer interested, say so. Silence costs the other side real time.

07

Behave professionally

Courtesy and good faith, in every exchange.

Enforcement: Breaches may result in clarification requests, suspended opportunities, suspended accounts or permanent removal, depending on severity.
