An owner or an authorized representative submits the opportunity. We review who you are, whether you have authority to bring it to market, and whether the business is what it says it is.
Vareth Intelligence reviews private-company opportunities, identifies acquirers whose criteria genuinely fit, and introduces the parties directly. No seller-side marketplace commission.
Most private-company transactions have a discovery problem long before they have a deal problem.
Owners get inquiries from people who were never realistic acquirers: competitors gathering intelligence, tyre-kickers, and buyers who cannot fund the transaction. Every one of those conversations costs time, focus and momentum, and some of them cost confidentiality.
Acquirers have the opposite version of the same problem. They see plenty of opportunities. Very few are worth the hour it takes to work out that they are not a fit.
Vareth exists to improve the quality of the first connection. We succeed when the two parties we introduce would have wanted to meet anyway but would probably never have found each other.
An owner or an authorized representative submits the opportunity. We review who you are, whether you have authority to bring it to market, and whether the business is what it says it is.
We build a standardized, non-identifying profile of the opportunity. Your company name is not published. Financial figures are clearly labelled as seller-reported.
We compare the opportunity against the stated acquisition criteria of buyers on the marketplace and produce a shortlist. Only buyers on that shortlist see it. We do not broadcast.
A buyer requests an introduction and accepts confidentiality terms. You approve. We make the introduction, and then step out of the way.
Every opportunity is reviewed by a person before any buyer sees it. Nothing is auto-published.
Buyers register their industries, size range, geography, structure preferences and timing before they receive anything.
Anonymous profile first. Your identity is released at the introduction stage with your approval, not before.
Run the process yourself, or have every introduction routed straight to the advisor already representing you.
Most marketplaces are vague about where their role ends. We would rather be specific, because the gap between what a platform implies and what it actually does is where trust goes to die.
After the introduction, the parties deal directly, with their own lawyers, accountants, lenders and advisors. That is the correct order of things. We are good at the first connection, so that is what we sell.
Vareth works with acquirers who state their criteria before they see anything:
Private equity firms
Family offices
Corporate development teams and strategic acquirers
Independent sponsors
Search funds
Buy-side advisors
Qualified individual buyers
Each buyer registers the industries they pursue, the revenue and EBITDA ranges they work in, their geography, their preferred deal structure and their acquisition timing. That profile is what we match against. It is also why we can tell you, in one sentence, why a particular buyer was selected.
No listing fee. No success fee to Vareth for a transaction that comes from a marketplace introduction. The marketplace is funded by buyers, who pay for curated access and completed introductions.
If you later choose to purchase optional preparation services from us, those are quoted separately and are not a condition of using the marketplace.
How Vareth is paid→Good. Keep them. Vareth is not a replacement for sell-side representation and does not try to be. We do not negotiate, we do not manage your process, and we do not want your mandate.
Tell us who represents you and every buyer introduction goes to them. Advisors and investment banks also bring client mandates to Vareth directly, as an additional source of relevant acquirers.
For advisors and investment banks→Submitting an opportunity is free and confidential, and does not commit you to selling.
